Felder&Felder Design Luxury Lofts

Posted by Alison Whelan On October - 28 - 2010

FBC members Annette and Daniela Felder of Felder&Felder have designed an apartment in collaboration with London property developer Londonewcastle. It is the first time that the dynamic fashion duo have embarked on a interior design project.

For this luxury conversion Felder&Felder have included elements of their own label to and translated these into bespoke features of the apartment, and have sourced furniture and antiques to compliment the interior aesthetics  created by Felder&Felder.

Felder& Felder drew inspiration for the design from the rich history of the building, a former factory space and one time home to Jim Henson’s muppets, and its location situated between Camden, with a rich punk heritage and the more sophisticated and refined Primrose Hill. The result is a modern and stylish apartment, synonymous with Londonewcastle, whilst clearly referencing signature Felder Felder design elements.

Hospital Club 100 Awards Nominates FBCers

Posted by Alison Whelan On June - 25 - 2010

Annette & Daniela Felder

Here at FBC we are exceptionally proud of our members. So much so that we love to dedicate special trinkets to them on our FBC blog.

FBC’s  latest news sees Annette & Daniela Felder of Felder& Felder, and Alexandra Shulman, editor of Vogue UK, nominated for the Hospital Club 100 Awards. The awards are a recognition to outstanding contribution made by individuals in the world of fashion, and celebrate both established and emerging talent.

Felder& Felder told us they are “honoured to be nominated for the Hospital Club 100 Awards. Fashion is of growing importance to Britain’s creative economy and we are thrilled that over the past decade this has come to be recognised. It is also exciting to be in the same category of awards with fellow FBCer Alex Shulman, editor of Vogue.”

Not one but two FBC members! What can we say other than we are exceptionally proud. To vote for the Hospital Club 100 awards click here.

Florence and the Machine wears Felder Felder

Posted by Rebekah Roy On January - 15 - 2010

florenceandthemachine_felderfelder

FBC blog chats with 1/2 of Felder Felder, FBC member Annette Felder about celebrities and their upcoming LFW show!

Felder Felder has always been a rock’n'roll label. How has the relationship with music artists come about?
Annette Felder – Mutually, we’ve been approached by quite a few stylists who thought FF would work really well for the artists they work with, which has resulted in some exciting collaborations and relationships.

How important are celebrities to your brand?
Annette Felder – It’s more about the celebrity’s personality or work, which attracts us and makes a celebrity interesting for Felder Felder.

Will you be showing at London Fashion Week?
Annette Felder – Yes, we will be showing on schedule at London Fashion Week, Friday 19th February.

What can we expect next from Felder Felder?
Annette Felder – Timeless and cool designs with a signature shot of rock’n'roll.

FBC at London Fashion Week ~ September 2009

Posted by Courtney Blackman On October - 1 - 2009

It’s not hard to spot an FBC member (or several) on a daily basis at Fashion Week, so here’s what everyone was up to this season:

annefrancesca

On day one I ran into two FBC members at 180 The Strand, who both happen to be fashion stylists, Anne Look and Francesca Marotta.  180 The Strand was home to On|Off, run by FBC member, Lee Lapthorne.

johnmartyn

Over at Vauxhall Fashion Scout (VFS), run by FBC members John Walford and Martyn Roberts, FBC member and fashion stylist, Rebekah Roy started the week by styling one of seven shows and presentations.

alisonlowe

FBC member and MD of Felicities, Alison Lowe (right) was back and forth from VFS to On|Off, where her clients were showing.

ritalaura

FBC’s membership director, and handbag designer, Rita Nazareno of S.C. Vizcarra was spotted pre-show at VFS with FBC’s administrative assistant, Laura McCluskey; and I saw the following FBC members in no particular order either at the BFC tent or On|Off:

hattyjimmy

Hatty Stevens, MD of Harriet Maria Creative Consultancy and Jimmy Ho, world domination visionaire

angelikamyka

Angelika Huwiler – newly employed at Prada and FBC’s press director, Myka Volney

miriamalisonlewy

CEO of koodos.com, Miriam Lahage and Alison Lewy, commercial director of the Fashion and Textile Museum

hannahnavaz

Hannah Weimers, senior consultant at Angle Plc. and Navaz Batliwalla, freelance stylist, writer and consultant

jessicaanalauretta

Lauretta Roberts digital development director of WGSN and chairman of the Fashion Summit 2009 (right, with Drapers editor Jessica Price-Brown and commissioning editor Ana Santi)

FBC members Harold Tillman, Alexandra Shulman and Dolly Jones were spotted on lots of front rows, FBC member and MD of FCC, Frances Card was everywhere, and FBC member, fashion stylist and journalist, Gretchen Owen was at FBC members’ Daniela and Annette Felder of Felder Felder’s catwalk show, along with FBC board member, designer/illustrator/author, Daisy de Villeneuve.

bryceaquascutumjenden

FBC’s fashion designers didn’t disappoint. Bryce d’Anice Aime did a catwalk show, Michael Herz, on behalf of Aquascutum, did a presentation, and Nathan Jenden did a show just two days before his big FBC interview.

Victoria Holt, FBC member and founder & creative director of lingerie label, Fred&Ginger exhibited at Somerset House.  Apparently they were not supposed to have show cards in the Lingerie Boudoir, so here she is committing an illegal maneuvre with her Vogue card.

victoriaholt

Surprise, it’s FBC committee member and fashion designer, Regine Mowill!

See you all on the 26th of November where Browns buying director, Erin Mullaney and fashion designer, Jonathan Saunders, will be interviewed by FBC board member and editor of Vogue.com, Dolly Jones.
