This week is FBC member, Lauretta Robert’s last week as editor of Drapers.  After two and a half years steering the UK’s premiere fashion business weekly, Lauretta will be moving on to Emap’s global style and fashion forecasting business, WGSN (which is apparently just through the café on the right).

Lauretta is “sad to be leaving a title that I’ve grown to hold very dear to my heart,” but WGSN needs her.  They are undertaking their first relaunch in ten years, and we all saw what Lauretta did for Drapers.  She redesigned it and relaunched it to incorporate more industry news, views and in-depth interviews. “It’s another great brand with enormous potential, and those of you who know me will be aware that I like nothing more than a good relaunch project, so this is perfect for me!”

Lauretta will still chair November’s Fashion Summit, which will be co-branded with Drapers and WGSN going forward.  She will also be collaborating with Drapers on content and would love to be kept informed of members’ product news and developments, press days, presentations, shows, etc.

Congratulations, Lauretta!
