Courtney Blackman and I began this club with the nub of an idea, intent on bringing bright-minded fashion professionals together. Originally started on an ASmallWorld thread, FBC is a private members club with a growing private database of innovative thinkers, movers and shakers, that has been seen on Vogue.com and The Business of Fashion, as well as in The Mayfair Times, Easy Living, LuxuryFinance, and Drapers.
Now in our 3rd year we’re launching a BLOG, adding filmed interviews to our skill set and protecting our brand with worldwide trademarks. All thanks to our members who support the idea and unfailingly come to our six annual meetings. Want to join us? You need at least 2 years professional experience in the fashion industry to apply, just download an application form from the ‘HOW’ page on the main FBC site and send to the address listed.
Our last meeting on Thursday the 29th May was a raging success with Temperley London’s senior advisor, Louisa Hetherington of Reynolds Porter Chamberlain, discussing intellectual property.
